A Night to Remember
Atlanta’s underground scene came alive Friday night as Twisted Lines delivered a stacked lineup that blended international heavy-hitters with some of the city’s most promising local talent. From the moment the doors opened, the energy was undeniable — a buzzing crowd ready to lose themselves in a night of bass, lights, and connection. The venue pulsed with anticipation as friends gathered, dance circles formed, and the first drops shook the room.
For Twisted Lines' debut feature on Inside the Realm, this event set a high bar, showing that Twisted Lines knows how to craft an experience, not just a show. With precise sound, hypnotic visuals, and artists who gave everything behind the decks, the night demonstrated why Atlanta’s rave scene is one of the most electrifying in the country. It wasn’t just about the music — it was about a community coming together to celebrate the underground and create memories that will last well beyond the lights.
The Lineup
The night started with Nobodyimportant, whose set immediately drew the crowd onto the dance floor. His early energy, blending bass-driven grooves with a playful edge, laid the perfect foundation for what was to come.
Next up, YSNXS, an Atlanta-based DJ and producer, took control. Known for blending house and techno with sharp, seamless transitions, he delivered a polished yet energetic sound that kept the crowd engaged. YSNXS showed why he's a staple in the Atlanta scene.
Then the energy hit its peak as MCR-T stepped onto the stage as the night's headliner. All the way from Berlin, MCR-T is known for blending techno, industrial, and rap-infused electronic music into a genre-defying, high-intensity performance. His set wasn't just about the music; it was an experience, weaving hypnotic beats, driving kicks, and bold vocals that kept the audience moving nonstop. Fans were treated to a rare, intimate Atlanta performance, feeling the raw energy that has made MCR-T a star in his career. Every drop, every transition was carefully executed, turning the venue into a pulsating, immersive playground.
Closing out the night, Yuree, an emerging Atlanta techno DJ, delivered an impressive set that maintained the energy until the very last beat. Known for hypnotic rhythms and precise timing, Yuree has become a regular at Twisted Lines events. Their closing act left the crowd excited and fully satisfied.

The Experience
Twisted Line didn’t just set the stage — they transformed the whole room. Crystal-clear sound met chest-rattling bass, and the immersive visuals pulled the crowd deeper into the music with every drop. Each artist’s set felt larger-than-life, amplified by a venue that perfectly captured underground warehouse vibes — raw, gritty, and electric. From start to finish, the night was more than a show; it was a fully realized journey where sound, lights, and energy collided, leaving everyone buzzing long after the last beat.
Behind The Vision
For this feature, we sat down with Shakes, the founder of Twisted Lines, to talk about the roots of the collective, the vision behind their recent show with MCR-T, and what sets Twisted apart in Atlanta’s underground scene.
Inside The Realm: What was the vision for Friday's show, and do you feel it came to life?
Shakes: Yes, thankfully everything went according to plan. We took a risk by changing our original idea, but the result turned out even better than I could have dreamed.
Inside The Realm: What inspired you to start Twisted Lines?
Shakes: To keep it short and simple, it was the warm feeling I experienced at my very first underground event in LA. That night truly had an impact on me, it literally changed the course of my life. At the time, I was in my early twenties, very lost and insecure. Sometimes all you need is a community that welcomes you without judgment over money or status. From that moment, I knew I wanted to create a space where others could hopefully feel the same way when they step into Twisted.
Inside The Realm: What makes Twisted Lines different from other event collectives in Atlanta?
Shakes: I would love to think people can feel the heart and care we have for everyone that steps through our doors, I try my best to connect with everyone that comes to twisted. Even if they only come once in a while. I can not talk to 100s of people at once, but I truly try my best to stay connected trough our chats, and give anyone the time of day if they need someone. Also All the ideas come directly from me, don’t follow a recipe book. I get inspired and act. That’s what makes us different: no one else has my thoughts except me.
Inside The Realm: What's been the most rewarding part of running Twisted Lines so far?
Shakes: There are so many things, but the first that comes to mind is all the people I’ve been able to meet because of this project—my best friends, my partner, and even my cat (got him from our very first venue in Atlanta). Every person I’ve had the chance to connect with, even if just for one small moment, makes it worthwhile. Another huge reward is seeing my ideas come to life.
Inside The Realm: What's next for Twisted Lines?
Shakes: You’ll just have to wait and see.
Twisted Lines is a vision built from heart, community, and creativity. With Shakes leading the way, it’s clear this collective is only just getting started.
Closing Thoughts
Friday night went beyond the usual party; it was an experience. With international headliner MCR-T lighting up the stage and local talents like Yuree, YSNXS, and Nobodyimportant representing Atlanta's vibrant scene, Twisted Lines showed they're creating more than events; they're crafting moments that linger.
If Friday was any indication, Atlanta's underground rave scene is in for something special, and Twisted Lines is gonna be apart of it.
